Full Surveys
A comprehensive inspection for those considering the purchase of a vessel.
- Includes full condition assessment, structural inspection, systems review, and valuation.
- Identifies potential defects, maintenance requirements, and safety concerns before purchase.
- Provides a fair market valuation – ensuring the buyer pays a realistic price and understands the vessel’s overall condition.
- Essential for private buyers, brokers, financial institutions, and insurers.
A full pre-purchase valuation includes, without being limited to:
- Inspection of the hull and structure – thickness measurements for steel or aluminium, osmosis investigation and moisture measurements for GRP
- Inspection and test of technical systems – including sanitary, electrical, and gas
- Inspection of engines, propulsion system and steering
- Inspection of the mast, sails and rigging (if applicable)
- Inspection of the interior, insulation, and furniture
- Inspection and test of instruments
- Inspection of safety and rescue equipment
- Trial trip (we recommend minimum 1 hour or more)
- Report suitable for insurance or financial purposes
- Valuation of the ship/object
- Repair advice (if required)

Partial Surveys
In some cases, only a part of the vessel needs a specific inspection. Therefore, we offer these separately or with a full pre-purchase survey. Some of the partial surveys (bold) are included in a full standard pre-purchase survey.
